Cannes Yachting Festival 2019

Where: Vieux Port, Cannes

The Cannes Yachting Festival takes place in the sparkling bay of one of the most beautiful towns on the French Riviera. It is one of Europe's leading in-water boating event, with major players in the yachting industry coming to showcase the newest models in the world, and crew arriving to look for work for the Caribbean season and/or discover the newest trends in the yachting industry.

The 42nd edition of Europe’s biggest in-water boat show is sure to make a splash in the international yachting community: in 2018, over 50,000 visitors benefitted from 530 exhibitors and 630 boats, in two French Riviera ports – The Vieux Port and The Port Pierre Canto. 2019’s edition promises to be bigger still.

Here are some of the areas at the festival:

The Palais des Festivals

Exhibitors include shipyards, banks, interior designers and architects. The beach out outside will exhibit the latest in water toy trends.

La Terrasse

This space is dedicated to luxury industry stakeholders including; automotive, watches, private aviation and jewellery.

The Super Yachts Extension

This area is home to the largest motor and sailing yachts, with vessels over 25m, some as large as 55m.

The Jetée

This area will be hosting the largest shipyards from all over the world.

The Pantiero

Presenting the smaller motor boats, The Pantiero will be exhibiting open, sports, flybridge and sport fishing boats.

The Catamarans area

12 to 35 metre sailing and motor catamarans will be exhibited in the water here.

The Quai Saint-Pierre

A range of sailing craft and motor boats sized between 12 to 25 metre can be viewed in this area.

The Quai Max Laubeuf

This is the original area of the festival in Cannes where just 30 new boats were on show. This year, over 160 yachts and boats will be exhibited in water and on land.
