While the summer yachting season may be well and truly over, there is no shortage of yacht crew jobs around the world. YPI CREW presents a selection of sought-after superyacht jobs for the month of November.
Captain – 52ft Chase Boat
A Captain is required for a brand new 52ft chase boat, which is currently en route from Tahiti to the Caribbean. Start date ASAP; minimum qualification – yachtmaster; ideally with experience of working on large sailboats/motoryachts; and used to working as part of a team. Caribbean winter, probably back to Europe next summer.
Service Stew B1B2, 163m private yacht
Professional service background from Hotels/Restaurants, cruise ships and other yachts; longevity is a particularly desirable trait; team-player; excellent service skills; presentable; friendly attitude; in possession of a B1/B2 visa; and a Level 2 Food, Safety & Hygiene qualification for catering.
Masseuse/Stew – 50m Private Yacht
Permanent position, starting end of the month. Salary depends on experience. On this yacht, massages are not commonly requested, so the role is more on as a stew. Nevertheless, the candidate needs to have the right massage qualifications and if she is a beautician too it is definitively a plus.
Temporary Laundry Stew with B1/B2 Visa
An 86m private yacht requires a Laundry Stew with a B1/B2 visa. Dates: Jan 8- Feb 16, approximately (covering paternity leave).
Main duties are Laundry duties – washing, stain treating, drying, ironing. Other tasks may be Crew Mess Duties, Assisting with Galley if needed, light HK duties. B1B2 visa.
Housekeeper with B1B2 Visa
A Housekeeper with a bubbly personality is required for a 97m private yacht. S/he will need to be 100% comfortable around guests, as the family is very interactive. B1/B2 visa is essential.
A 105m private superyacht requires a Hairdresser/Stew. More details will be shared upon application.
A 73m Charter Yacht requires a Spa/Stew. More details will be shared upon application.
