Although yachting isn’t the most traditional of industries, first impressions count just as much in superyacht recruitment as they do in a 9-5 office environment. So you don’t want to lessen your chance of landing the position of your dreams if you turn up dressed casually with flip flops with lots of dangling jewellery.
In the lead up to the interview, take a walk along the docks and study what yacht crew are wearing on board. Then try to mimic their style. As a general rule, try to dress in a polo shirt or shirt and simple white, blue or beige shorts, pants or skirts – not too short of course, paired with classic boating shoes.

A 55m+ private SY is looking for a Second Engineer with minimum YM and AEC. Good sailing background required. Good package on offer.
A 55m+ charter yacht is looking for a sous chef. The candidate needs charter experience and must be someone organised and tidy. Salary DOE.
A 65m+ private vessel is looking for a Russian speaking Second Stew. Dual season. Rotation 5 on / 1 off.
A 45m+ charter MY is looking for an experienced Chief Stewardess. The candidate needs to have charter experience. Three in the interior. Dual season Med / Caribbean. Salary 6000 Euro.
A 100m+ private MY is looking for a Spa Therapist specialised in facial treatment. The candidate needs to have nail technics as well. Worldwide cruising itinerary.
